For the past twenty years, we have often withnessed slices of life and lifestyles in Hong Kong and beyond through the lens of professional photographer Henry Wong. Henry has always known photography was his path in life. In 1986, he began to pursue that dream as an apprentice of acclaimed master photographer Benno Gross, gaining invaluable field experience and demonstrating immmense promise and talent. His knowledge and skill were further refined after acquiring a degree in Photographic Design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1996.

 

From humble beginnings at the partnership "Studio.K" set up in 1992, Henry increasingly developed and eye for detail and a vision to seize beauty like no one else. Honing his skills to perfection, he established "Henry Wong Studio" in 2005, specializing in portraits, commercial photography for advertising and corporate and lifestyle publications.

 

Over the years, Henry has made great leaps in his artistry, gaining professional and industry recognition and an impressive array of accolades along the way. His work regularly graces the pages of renowned publications such as Elle Decoration Magazine and Noblesse Magazine, and he was at the helms of producing stunning masterpieces for famous advertising campaigns for major 4As advertising agency. Henry is best known for his portraits and for conveying the inner radiance of his subjects flawlessly. His work reveals his deep passion for theatrics and movies. If a picture says a thousand words, Henry's photo tells a thousand tales by virture of layered expression and rich contextual depictions, Whaever the subject, Henry hopes to capture its elegance with honesty, and in its full glory.
